Footscray

Note the ivory tower in the top left corner, while the city seethes.

Is it possible to put size, date and medium when you artworks are posted - I find it very grounding and interesting ? But this may not be how you want to post on your blog - you maybe wanting the focus on the image only. Thanks for your quotes on ArtSmelter - I find them insightful and they add another dimension to the blog. I am finding it hard to keep up with the four or five bloggs that I run and all the preparation for xmas, the art show and house renovating. But I am managing to post to all blogs at least once a week. It has a lot more potential, and I feel the exposure and commitment is a good thing. 2008 should be an interesting year. I hoping to draw a few more artists and readers to our site.

You just have to keep plugging away David.
You're right I should be bothered to post details of artworks, but mostly the details are fairly similar since I consistently work on the same scale with same materials or slight variations thereof.
either ink on rice paper 19 x 26 cm
gouache on canson dessin paper 50 x 65 cm
oil on canvas 91 x 122 cm (3 x 4 ft)
height by width.
Since I have finished study for this year I hope to contribute a little more actively to this and other blogs.
I hope the work for your show in January is progressing well.
